Or maybe we should ask, A Real Christian.....Who is one? 'Cause Real Christianity really comes down to the person of Jesus Christ Himself and the life He lived. "Truth is that which is faithful to the original" (yes, for those of you paying attention, there will be a quiz later). So, a truly Christ-like person is one who faithfully follows the example of Christ, because He lived the original lifestyle that He desires for us to also live. That lifestyle is called "Life more abundantly". How do you get it? You get it by giving. "What do you mean getting from giving"? I mean to receive life you must die.
Jesus said in
Jhn 12:24 ,"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Jhn 12:25
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Jhn 12:26
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honour."
The Life Jesus lived on earth wasn't about Him, although He was "God in Human Flesh". Every breathe, every word, every thought, every tear, everything He did was about touching someone else. It was about giving His life in hope of changing another life. Now that is Real Christianity. That is why our Savior is so awesome! He got up off the throne, and humbled Himself for us!! (Phil. 2).
You want the victory over the world and sin? Quit living for yourself. Start living like Jesus and become a servant to others and you might be surprised at how awesome it'll make you feel. You know why? 'Cause Jesus said "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do" (John 14:12). Amen!

IT IS STRANGE ISN'T IT....
A thought provoking e-mail I recently received:
" Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church , but such a small amount when you go shopping?
Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?
Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying but...you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?
Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel or fiction book?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?
Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events at the last minute?
Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others; but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?
Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say but ... we question the words in the Bible?
Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven but... they don't want to believe, do, or say anything to get there?
Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others? "
God must be our priority, not our hobby. Amen!?
